Like beatmania APPEND GOTTAMIX, GOTTAMIX2 contains a brand-new set of songs not in any arcade beatmania title at the time of release.
Unlike with GOTTAMIX, none of GOTTAMIX2’s new KONAMI original songs ever appeared in an arcade beatmania or beatmania III game. However, a few of the songs later appeared in beatmania IIDX, DanceDanceRevolution, and pop’n music.
GOTTAMIX2’s songs are notably long for the beatmania series, with several songs as long as two minutes.
In addition to 17 new songs, all the unique ANOTHER songs from beatmania completeMIX 2 are included (except LUV TO ME (disco mix)).
The seven new licenses from beatmania (Europe) are also included.
